The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) is interested in discovering equipment, hardware, software, and best practices related to using Large Scale Particle Image Velocimetry (LSPIV) techniques to collect river flood flow data. The goal is to improve worker safety and allow measurement of river flood flow quickly. Your input on this survey will assist Caltrans in preparing a research Preliminary Investigation entitled “Flood Flow Estimation using Large Scale Image Particle Velocimetry (LSPIV)” and is greatly appreciated.
