Increasing Pavement Performance Through Design Modulus-Based Specification Requirements
The Iowa DOT is developing an implementation plan for increasing pavement performance through design modulus-based specification requirements. Under FHWA’s EDC program, the Iowa DOT received both a STIC and AID award to support implementation activities. Pilot projects are planned for 2021.
The purpose of this survey is to assist in identifying other DOTs who are interested in, or have efforts underway, of a similar nature with the objective of sharing best practices and collaboration. The recipient of the survey may need to draw upon their pavement design, construction, and management engineers to respond to the survey.
